Quest: Path to an Elven Wizard

Path to an Elven Wizard is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 C2: Age of Splendor for characters of level 19+. It starts with Rosella in Elven Village.

Elven Wizard 1st class transfer quest walkthrough

The quest for the 1st profession for the Elemental Summoner and the Spellsinger: Path to an Elven Wizard (Elven Wizard, then Spellsinger or Elemental Summoner).

Ruby of fire

  1. Elven Village. Find Rosella on the square and take the quest. You receive: Fertility Peridot, Rosella's Letter.

    The quest is taken at level 19 from Rosella in the starting village of the light elves (she stands, the pest, in a small house that is not named on the map in any way). Rosella says that three tasks have to be done; there will be three lines in the dialogue with her, all of them have to be done. Let us begin with the first one, about fire.

  2. Find Magister Greenis in the temple. You receive: Charm of Grain.

    We look for the NPC Magister Greenis in the same village (in the temple of Eva).

  3. The Neutral Zone (teleport from Dark Elf Village). Hunt Pincer Spider (lv. 17) until you have: Red Down ×5.

    We run towards the Neutral Zone through the left gate and beat the mobs Pincer Spider until we get five items Red Down from them. I had to run for a very long time; it is easier to teleport straight to the Neutral Zone and from there run across the light bridge. By the way, here, when all five items had dropped, the melody that plays when the last item is knocked out did not sound.

  4. Elven Village. Return to Magister Greenis in the temple. Hand over: Red Down ×5. You receive: Magical Powers Ruby.

    In any case, we hand the items in to Greenis and get the Ruby of Fire.

Aquamarine of water

  1. Return to Rosella on the square. You receive: Appetizing Apple.

    We return to Rosella and choose the line about water.

  2. Iris Lake. Talk to Thalia. You receive: Sap of The World Tree.

    Then we look for the NPC Thalia (through the southern gate towards Iris Lake; by the lake on a cliff there will be a summerhouse, the NPC stands there: that is on the right side of the lake, level with the corner of the tree crown on the map).

  3. Elven Forest (teleport from Elven Village). Hunt Dryad Elder (lv. 14) until you have: Gold Leaves ×5.

    We beat Dryad Elder (in the same place as the spiders) until we get five items Gold Leaves. The drop chance is extremely low. In general this is one of the dullest first-profession quests. It looks as if NCsoft got bored and decided to make it as tedious as possible. All the NPCs are placed heaven knows where, the mobs they send you to are in quite different directions, and there is no teleport either to the ones or to the others, only on foot. I did this quest for an hour and a half. Horror.

  4. Iris Lake. Return to Thalia. Hand over: Gold Leaves ×5. You receive: Pure Aquamarine.

    We return to Thalia, then to Rosella.

Amethyst of wind

  1. Elven Village. Return to Rosella on the square. You receive: Immortal Love.

  2. Elven Fortress (teleport from Elven Village). Talk to Northwind. You receive: Lucky Potpourri.

    We teleport to the entrance of the Elven Fortress and look for the NPC Northwind.

  3. Hunt Sukar Wererat Leader (lv. 19) until you have: Amethyst ×2.

    We go into the dungeon, look for the mobs Sukar Wererat Leader and knock out two items (here you may have to ask somebody to go with you to clear away the heaps of skeletons: the mobs you need are rather deep in the dungeon, and the drop of the items is extremely low).

  4. Return to Northwind. Hand over: Amethyst ×2. You receive: Nobility Amethyst.

    We return to Northwind.

Final step

  1. Elven Village. Return to Rosella on the square. You receive: Eternity Diamond.

    Next we go to Rosella and get the mark Eternity Diamond.

  2. Town of Gludio. Find High Priest Raymond in the temple to complete the quest. Hand over: Eternity Diamond.

    The mark we hand in to High Priest Raymond and change the profession to Elven Wizard. On reaching level 35 the future horse breeders (Elemental Summoner) do the quests for the second profession: Trial of the Scholar, Testimony of Life and Test of the Summoner. And the future spellsingers (Spellsinger) theirs: Trial of the Scholar, Testimony of Life and Test of Magus.

Tips

  • A monster drops its quest item only while you carry the charm of the matching task, so finish one jewel before asking Rosella for the next.

  1. Step 1

    Quest that must be fulfilled to change occupations to an Elven Wizard. Rosella speaks that only the one who gets the jewels that represent each of the four elements may become an Elven Wizard. She hands you the fertility peridot, which symbolizes earth, and asks you to find the rest.
