Hunt of the Black Lion

Hunt of the Black Lion is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C2: Age of Splendor for characters of level 25+. It starts with Sophia in Town of Dion.

Hunt of the Black Lion walkthrough

A repeatable quest of Dion from level 25 for those who carry the Black Lion Mark from Vanquish Remnants: Sophya of the Black Lion mercenaries hires you against four kinds of enemies. Every trophy pays 35 adena, lion's claws turn into lion's eyes and random supplies, and the cargo boxes found on the way can be opened or traded for guild coins.

Four hunting grounds

Execution Grounds. Hunt Specter (lv. 26), Sorrow Maiden (lv. 27), Neer Ghoul Berserker (lv. 29), Neer Crawler (lv. 28), Strain (lv. 31), Ghoul (lv. 32) until you have: Undead Ash, Cargo Box.
The undead of the Execution Grounds give undead ash.
Partisan's Hideaway. Hunt Ol Mahum Guerilla (lv. 26), Ol Mahum Raider (lv. 27), Ol Mahum Marksman (lv. 28), Ol Mahum Sergeant (lv. 29), Ol Mahum Captain (lv. 30) until you have: Bloody Axe Insignia.
The Ol Mahums of the Partisan's Hideaway give Bloody Axe insignias.
Bee Hive (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Delu Lizardman (lv. 28), Delu Lizardman Scout (lv. 29), Delu Lizardman Warrior (lv. 30) until you have: Delu Lizardman Fang, Cargo Box.
The Delu lizardmen of the Floran farmland give fangs.
Cruma Tower (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Marsh Stakato (lv. 29), Marsh Stakato Worker (lv. 31), Marsh Stakato Soldier (lv. 33), Marsh Stakato Drone (lv. 35), Marsh Stakato Marquess (lv. 35) until you have: Stakato Talon.

Rewards

Town of Dion. Return to Mercenary Sophia.
Sophya pays 35 adena for each trophy and adds Lion's Claw: one for 20 trophies at once, two for 50, three for a hundred. Ten claws become a Lion's Eye together with a random supply - potions, shots, scrolls - that grows as you collect more eyes.
Talk to Guildsman Morgan.
Morgan buys the cargo boxes for 100 adena and a Guild Coin; with more coins the price rises.
Talk to Mercenary Redfoot to complete the quest.
Redfoot opens a box for 650 adena; inside is a random cargo - food, pelts, gems or parts of a statue and of an ancient tablet, which Rupio puts together.

Sophia, the captain of the Black Lion, recommends that you participate in the mission to eradicate Dion Castle Town of monsters. Receive Sophia's mission and carry out the task of eliminating the undead of the Execution Ground, the Ol Mahums of the Partisan Hideaway, the Delu lizardmen of the southern shores, or the marsh stakato of the Cruma Marshlands.
