Adept of Taste

Adept of Taste is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C2: Age of Splendor for characters of level 24+. It starts with Jonas in Town of Dion.

Adept of Taste walkthrough

A quest of Dion from level 24: the cook Jonas sends you round five cooks for the ingredients of his special dish, and Magister Mirien tastes it. The better the dish, the better the reward - up to 7,800 adena, experience and one of Jonas's recipes.

  2. Talk to Trader Sonia.

  3. Mandragora Farm. Hunt Mandragora Sprout (lv. 20), Mandragora Sprout (lv. 21), Mandragora Sapling (lv. 23), Mandragora Blossom (lv. 25) until you have: Red Mandragora Root ×40, White Mandragora Root ×40.

  4. Town of Dion. Return to Trader Sonia.

  5. Talk to Guard Jacob.

  6. Bee Hive (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Bloody Bee (lv. 23), Stinger Wasp (lv. 30) until you have: Nectar ×20, Royal Jelly ×10.

  7. Town of Dion. Return to Guard Jacob.

  8. Floran Village. Talk to Grocer Pano.

  9. Town of Dion. Hunt Hobgoblin (lv. 21) until you have: Hobgoblin Amulet ×30.

  10. Floran Village. Return to Grocer Pano.

  11. Town of Dion. Talk to Priestess Glyvka.

  13. Town of Dion. Return to Priestess Glyvka.

  14. Talk to Magister Rollant.

  15. The Pilgrim's Necropolis. Hunt Monster Eye Searcher (lv. 22), Monster Eye Gazer (lv. 25) until you have: Body of Monster Eye ×30.

  16. Town of Dion. Return to Magister Rollant.

  17. Return to Jonas.

  18. Find Magister Mirien in the temple.

    Mirien rates the steak from one to five by the ingredients you brought.

  19. Return to Jonas to complete the quest.

    Jonas pays by the rating: a Jonas’S Salad Recipe, a Jonas’S Sauce Recipe or a Jonas’S Salad Recipe, experience and adena.

    Chef Jonas is preparing a monster eye steak for a competition. The judge is Sorceress Mirien, also known as the ‘Adept of Taste.’ You must collect high quality ingredients in order to fulfill her picky sense of taste.
