Crystals of Fire and Ice walkthrough

A repeatable quest of Talking Island from level 17: the undines and salamanders of the Elven Ruins leave shards of ice and fire, 60 adena apiece.

1. Talking Island. Take the quest from Trader Katerina.

   

   

2. Elven Ruins. Hunt Undine (lv. 17), Undine Elder (lv. 18), Undine Noble (lv. 19) until you have: Ice Shard.

   

   

3. Hunt Salamander (lv. 17), Salamander Elder (lv. 18), Salamander Noble (lv. 19) until you have: Flame Shard.

   

   

4. Talking Island. Return to Trader Katerina to complete the quest. Hand over: Ice Shard, Flame Shard.

1. Step 1

   Trader Katerina deals jewels as a subsidiary business. She asks you to head to the Elven Ruins to get soul ore shards, which were used by the ancient Elven mages. As you have been told, you shall find Salamanders and Undines in the Elven Ruins, and you may earn the ‘flame shard’ and the ‘ice shard’ from them.
