(Members of a clan that owns a castle cannot undertake this quest.)

Excellent! We always have room for someone with your skill and experience.

Someone like you losing something as valuable as this? Well, take it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do!

You aren't ready to be a mercenary. Come back after more training.

(Only characters who are level 40 and above may undertake this quest.)

You must have a thick skin to come to me! You know you need a Mercenary Certificate in order to work as a mercenary, right?

• "Please give me another one."

So you came to sign on with us, eh?

• "I came here to be certified as an Exalted Mercenary."

An Exalted Mercenary, eh?

Do you really think it's that easy? An Exalted Mercenary must demonstrate superior bravery and capability far surpassing those of an ordinary mercenary. Before you can be certified as an Exalted Mercenary, you must prove those qualities.

• "I'm ready to prove my worth."

Here you go. Don't lose it again! Do you think you can become an Exalted Mercenary if you're that careless?

• "That has nothing to do with becoming an Exalted Mercenary."

Very well. If your will is strong, join our Territory War and slay at least 30 enemies, then destroy 2 of their territory catapults. If you can do that, I'll approve you.

If you can't, don't bother me any more with talk of becoming an Exalted Mercenary.

You remember what I asked you? If you want to be an Elite Mercenary, slay at least 30 enemies and destroy 2 of the enemy's territory catapults. Any questions?

Ah, well done! But there is still one task you have left unfinished. Remember? You must still destroy 2 enemy territory catapults?

Your destruction of the enemy catapults has given us a great advantage in battle. But it's not won yet! We still have many enemies to defeat.

I've heard about your skills, friend. Still, it wasn't as easy as you thought, was it?

I have no choice but to certify you. Here is your Exalted Mercenary Certificate. You should be proud of your accomplishment.
