A Special Order

A Special Order is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 40+. It starts with Helvetia in Town of Giran.

You can trade with Helvetia with confidence. But there is now something wrong with her...

A Special Order walkthrough

The "cube quest": a one-time errand from level 40 whose reward, Wondrous Cubic, serves the character for good. Once a day the cube produces a fragment, and any warehouse keeper turns fragments and some adena into enchant scrolls. Helvetia gives one of two orders at random, a chest of fish or a jar of crops, so the quest is either a fishing trip or a manor errand.

  1. Town of Giran. Take the quest from Grocer Helvetia.

    She keeps the grocery of the town. The order is drawn by lot: if you got the one you do not like, abandon the quest and take it again.

Order one: the chest of fish

  1. Talk to Fishing Guild Member O'Fulle.

    The fisherman forgot the order and asks you to catch the fish yourself.

  2. Catch 10 × Orange Nimble Fish, 10 × Orange Ugly Fish and 10 × Orange Fat Fish. Orange fish are the fish of fishing levels 13–15; an angler of a higher level drinks Fisherman's Potion - Orange to fish at that level. The kind of fish depends on the lure: green lures attract nimble fish, purple ones fat fish and yellow ones ugly fish.   3. Talk to Fishing Guild Member O'Fulle again. Hand over: Orange Nimble Fish ×10, Orange Ugly Fish ×10, Orange Fat Fish ×10. You receive: Fish Chest.

  4. Return to Grocer Helvetia. Hand over: Fish Chest. You receive: Wondrous Cubic.

Order two: the jar of crops

  1. Talk to Warehouse Chief Gesto.

    The warehouse chief forgot his order as well and asks you to gather the crops.

  2. Bring 40 × Golden Cobol, 40 × Thorn Cobol and 40 × Great Cobol. These are manor crops: buy the seeds from a manor manager, sow them on monsters, kill the monsters and gather the crop from the corpses with Harvester. Seeds are on sale only where the lord of the castle has ordered them, so look at the managers of several towns first; the rules are in All about manor: sowing, harvesting and handing in crops.

  3. Talk to Warehouse Chief Gesto again. Hand over: Golden Cobol ×40, Thorn Cobol ×40, Great Cobol ×40. You receive: Seed Jar.

  4. Return to Grocer Helvetia. Hand over: Seed Jar. You receive: Wondrous Cubic.

Using the cube

  1. Double-click Wondrous Cubic once a day and it gives one fragment. Ordinary fragments, such as Cube Fragment Armor - D or Cube Fragment Weapon - D, are exchanged for ordinary enchant scrolls of armor and weapons from grade D to grade S; shiny ones, such as Shiny Cube Fragment Armor - D or Shiny Cube Fragment Weapon - D, for blessed scrolls. Take them to any warehouse keeper: every exchange also costs adena, and the higher the grade, the more.

Tips

  • Very rarely the cube gives Ziggo's Jewel instead of a fragment: a jewel with no other use than to be sold to a shop for a large sum.
  • The cube cannot be traded or dropped, and a character who already carries one is not given the quest. Do it on every character you play: thirty fragments a month cost nothing but a click.
  • On a server where nobody runs the manor the seeds are not on sale at all, and the fish order is the only one that can be finished: retake the quest until you get it.
