Seed of Annihilation

Seed of Annihilation is a dungeon in Lineage 2 Scryde.

This fortress is for Istina who is the creator and ruler for many races that exist in the Seed. There are three races, Bistakon, Cokracon, and Reptilikon. They are all enemies, and they crowd several areas in this complicated fortress.

Hunting notes

Seed of Annihilation, SoA for short, is one of the top locations for levelling. It suits the levelling of any party (melee, archer, mage). The location lies on the continent of Gracia. Like the two other seeds (the Seed of Infinity and the Seed of Destruction), it is a kind of huge living organism that sucks the life force out of the bowels of the planet and with its help generates amusing little monsters for our entertainment. Unlike the other seeds, SoA is not an instance but an ordinary dungeon: there are no conditions for entering the seed and farming, and any player can do it at any time.

How to get to the Seed of Annihilation? I used to fly to SoA in the flying transformation, simply because it was fun, and I was only getting to know those places. Then I noticed a little pillar on the Alliance base, next to the fountain, from which you can teleport to any of the seeds. Get to know the quests of this location at once: they are all rather tasty; only the first quest has to be taken on the Alliance base, so that you are admitted to all the others.

Levelling zones

The whole location is divided into three levelling zones, with different mobs in each zone and a separate entrance to each. Levelling with any group is possible. This is achieved by a special buff for players hanging in each zone: in one for melee characters, in another for archers, in the third for mages. And so that nobody feels hurt (the mobs are different, after all, and so is the drop from them), every Monday the buffs change zones in random order, and each party can go into another zone.

Now about the zones themselves. Each zone has one raid boss and packs of mobs. In each pack there is one elite mob (the boss, as it were) and three minions (the subordinate greenhorns). As far as I remember from Freya, one boss used to have minions of only one type, but now in High Five I see minions of different types mixed with the elite mobs.

Kokracon (the chickens). The zone is populated with mutating chickens of every stripe. There are mobs both in the open and in the big caves, of which there are rather many; they are not packed with mobs to the brim, as a rule a few packs per cave, and there is room to stand. The mobs of the Kokracon zone: Dopagen, the raid boss; Elite Kaiona, Elite Kanibi, Elite Kiriona; Kaiona, Kanibi, Kiriona.

Bistakon (the little beasts). The zone is populated with various crooked-armed and crooked-legged little beasts, which does not stop these crooked things from kicking painfully. To my mind this is the hardest zone: it is limited in area, so quite a lot of mobs are stuck in per square centimetre, they aggro as a whole crowd, and all their faces are angry. And they are angry, it seems, because the other zones have three kinds of mobs each, and here there are as many as four. Urbanisation, overpopulation, and so they feel bad. The mobs of the Bistakon zone: Taklacan, the raid boss; Elite Bgurent, Elite Brakian, Elite Groikan, Elite Treykan; Bgurent, Brakian, Groikan, Treykan.

Reptilikon (the creeping reptiles). The zone is populated with slippery little lizards, and if the sight of a croaking frog disgusts you as it does me, better not go there (a joke). There are mobs both in the open and in the big caves, of which there are rather many; they are not packed to the brim, as a rule a few packs per cave, and there is room to stand. The mobs of the Reptilikon zone: Torumba, the raid boss; Elite Krajian, Elite Tardyon, Elite Turtlelian; Krajian, Tardyon, Turtlelian.

Drop and spoil. Noticed in the drop and spoil of the mobs: the raid bosses have low S84-grade weapons, Vesper bodies and blessed S weapon scrolls; the elite mobs have recipes, key materials and whole Vesper weapons and attribute crystals; the ordinary mobs have recipes, key materials and whole pieces of the Vesper armor and jewelry, and life stones of all grades.

Raid bosses. As I already wrote above, each zone has one raid boss: Torumba, Taklacan and Dopagen. The tactics of farming them differ strongly from the farm of ordinary raid bosses. And now that is all, enough reading, hurry to have fun: pluck the chickens, inflate the frogs, kick the squirrels. The squirrels especially: I somehow do not like their faces.

And if anybody is interested, the very first NPC you meet in the location will be Nemo. He hands out for free a little thing called the Maguen Plasma Collector, with which you can collect Maguen Plasma from the mobs; at a certain amount of collected plasma the pet Maguen may appear, which will buff the whole party, and with some chance it may give the player the items Maguen Horn Flute or Elite Maguen Horn Flute. With the first of them you can summon yourself to SoA, with the second, the whole party.

And the last but very important remark. In all the zones of the location little fountains of energy spurt out of the ground, from which you can extract the Energy Compression Stone, used for crafting attribute crystals.
