Scryde X5 Classic description [Start September 4]
Server descriptions · Updated: 08.08.2026
Scryde X5 Classic — a new format in the Scryde server family, made for those who miss real old school. It is not the classic High Five. It is our vision of what it should be today.
Still, we kept everything people love this era for: the familiar character progression, the value of collected items, subclasses and Noblesse, craft and spoil, a living economy, the fight for gear, epic bosses, castles and the Olympiad. Some mechanics got targeted improvements where they make the game more convenient and interesting without changing its core.

What is not here
Spoiler for those who played on Scryde servers before
What was removed on X5 compared to X
- NPC Rin and the chain of starting quests from him
- Daily quests — disabled completely
- Auto-events (TVT, CTF, Deathmatch), custom locations and mechanics such as the Trial Arena, Tantar and the Gardens will not be available
- Grimwood Garrison location — not on the server
- Talent System
- Gemstone System
- Abyss instance
- Farm
- Chaotic Frintezza — entry closed
- Mirror PvP/PvE locations (Reflection Zone)
- Vitality drop boost — the usual vitality bar is there, but it no longer gives the bonus drop buff
- Prestige System
- 5 custom clan skills — Clan Sprint, Clan Miracle, Clan Gate, Clan Barrier and Clan Noblesse can no longer be learned
- Shoulders — custom shoulders for B, A, S, S80-Grade armor are no longer available
- Extra drop in SoA, LoA and Dragon Valley — all custom drop, including enchant scrolls, is removed
- Custom shops that make farming easier — the shops with recipe pieces and A-grade item parts are removed, and the Dynasty shops no longer sell equipment parts — only recipes, as before
- Updated Clan Halls — on Scryde Classic X5 custom CHs are not available, and regular CHs can be bought only through the Auction
Buffer in Alt+B
The buffer is in ALT+B → "Buffer". It works only in a peace zone and out of combat — you can't buff up in the middle of PvP.
Available from level 20 to 85, but the full list does not open at once: skills appear at about the same levels as for the matching classes. For example, Dance of Fury opens only from level 58 — just like for a real Bladedancer.
The buffer has no resists, reflects or most third-profession skills. The only exception is Chant of Victory.

Mana Refresh – A buff available from level 20 at the buffer that gives increased passive mana regeneration of 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 for one hour.
- Added a Clarity effect of 10% for physical skills
- Besides the fixed regeneration bonus, % MP regeneration based on the character's Max MP has been added, which makes the late chapters of the server much more comfortable. The % bonus works on the last levels of Mana Refresh
- The buff also reduces by 90% incoming and outgoing Mana Recharge
The exceptional efficiency of Mana Refresh gives solo players a unique experience, letting them follow classic RPG principles and manage their resources strategically. Note that players who prefer mana recharge don't get a double advantage, since they miss this buff because of the recharge penalty. This balanced solution gives equal opportunities to different play styles.
Vitamin pets
Vitamin pets — unique allies that will accompany you as your character grows; they can be bought in ALT+B. Each pet has a set of unique skills suited to different play styles. This lets players use them most effectively by choosing a pet that fits their play style and tactics.
Helper agathions on Scryde X5 Classic
Pets can be summoned only from level 40; the buffs of summoner pets open at the same level as for the Elemental Summoner / Warlock. You cannot summon a vitamin pet and a vitamin agathion at the same time, but a vitamin agathion together with a regular summon is now allowed (except the Paladin's Phoenix).
| Agathion | Type | Skills |
|---|---|---|
| Nymph / Ignis / Bloody Queen | Magic support |
|
| Archangel / Petram / Antharas Knight | Warrior support |

Gear Score System
A new system for rating character equipment has been added. All items are rated, starting from No Grade. The rating counts only regular items with no time limit.
Gear Score rating system
More about Gear Score
Each item has a base GS value plus extra bonuses for these properties:
- Item modification level: each enchant raises the total GS by a set percentage. For example, a B-Grade weapon adds +7% per enchant, and a weapon of grade MID S84 — +14%.
- Amount of inserted ATT: a fixed bonus to the total GS. In armor it ranges from +10 to +60, in weapons from +30 to +150, depending on the amount of ATT.
- PvP insert: +10 for weapons and +5 for armor. (Adds to the base GS before other bonuses)
- Rare insert: +5 for weapons and armor. (Adds to the base GS)
- Shoulders: +2 for the first Dino shoulder, +4 for the second, +8 for the third (Adds to the base GS)
- SA in a weapon: +10. (Adds to the base GS)
- Life Stone active and passive skills: from +5 to +200 depending on the LS (for example, Duel Might gives many times more GS than Kiss of Eva); the biggest bonus is for a double LS (for example, Duel Might and STR+1). In C/B/A-Grade weapons an LS gives a smaller GS bonus than in S+ Grade.
With the command .gs you can show your Gear Score in the general/party chat.

Class Balance
Bards — SwordSinger / BladeDancer
- Deadly Smash: A powerful attack on surrounding enemies that deals an extra 2192 damage. Reduces P. Def. by 17% and M. Def. by 17%. Can crit. Lasts 9 sec. Works at the Olympiad.

Now every bard has a set of "combined skills" — a merge of a Dance and a Song. This ends the endless search for the missing bard and lets you take one more DD instead, and it adds variety and flexibility in battle:
- Critical Simphony [from lv. 40]: A merge of Song of Hunter and Dance of Fire.
- Concentration Symphony [2 lv: 43 and 52]: A merge of Song of Warding, Dance of Concentration + Dance of Mystic
- Wind Symphony [from lv. 46]: A merge of Song of Wind and Dance of Insparation
- Warrior Symphony [from lv. 55]: A merge of Song of Earth and Dance of Warrior

- Vitality Symphony [from lv. 66]: A merge of Song of Vitality and Dance of Vampire
- Meditation Symphony [from lv. 77]: A merge of Song of Meditation and Song of Renewal
- Siren Symphony [from lv. 78]: A merge of Song of Champion and Dance of Siren
- The "double weight" of symphonies has been removed, which is an advantage when these skills get cancelled.
- The skills cannot be used at the Olympiad;
- The skills replace the standard Dances and Songs and have the highest priority;
- When the skills end, the dances and songs from the buffer come back;
- Duration: 5 minutes;
- The skills are cancelled by the rules of Dances and Songs, with Symbol of Noise.

Weapons, SA, rare sets: a big equipment update
Rare weapons of almost every type have been reworked — from swords and bows to fists and dual daggers. Outdated SAs were replaced with more relevant ones, and the rare parts of Vesper and Moirai were strengthened. New low-grade dual daggers were added, available from level 40 to several classes. Plus, the requirements for assembling some sets changed and soulshot consumption was reduced for a number of weapons.

World Trade
World Trade — a handy system that opens new ways to trade items and currency within one server. Unlike the usual in-game exchange of goods, World Trade lets players freely sell and buy goods from anywhere in the world.
How to use World Trade?
To open the World Trade window, use the special icon above the character's function bar:
Making a Purchase
Making a Purchase
- Open the World Trade window.
- Enter the item name (several words separated by spaces are fine).
- Choose a suitable lot → set the quantity → confirm the purchase.
- After a successful purchase the item appears in your inventory, and the seller receives mail with the adena.
Before buying, make sure that:
- inventory weight < 80%;
- there are at least 3 free slots.
Making a sale
Making a Sale
- Open My goods → Register an item for sale.
- Drag the item into the slot, set the price per 1 pc. and the quantity. The maximum number of lots is 15.
- Confirm the registration — a fee will be charged.
- The lot appears in the common list for 14 days.
- If the item is sold, the money comes to the character's mail and is kept there for 14 days. If the mail is not accepted within 14 days, the money goes to the character's warehouse.
My lots (settlements)
My lots (settlements)
- This section shows only active lots
- Here you can cancel a lot. In that case it returns to your inventory right away
- Expired lots are returned by mail

When is Trade unavailable?
When is trade unavailable?
Trade is unavailable if your character:
- Is in an instance
- Is taking part in the Olympiad
- Has a private store or workshop window open
- Is interacting with other characters (duel, trade, etc.)
Updated subclass system
There are no more limits on subclasses. Any character can take any subclass, including Warsmith and Overlord (dark elves can take light elf subclasses and vice versa!). Tanks can take other tanks as subclasses. The exception is the Kamael race, who can take subclasses of their own race only.
A dwarf girl with a necromancer sub — what a treat!
Champions
Among regular monsters you can meet champions — boosted versions of three levels: Blue (lv. 1), Red (lv. 2) and Gold (lv. 3). Each next level is noticeably more dangerous — and noticeably more profitable.
| Stat | Blue Champion (lv. 1) | Red Champion (lv. 2) | Gold Champion (lv. 3) |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | x5 | x20 | x50 |
| MP | x10 | x50 | x50 |
| P. Atk. | +25% | +75% | +300% |
| M. Atk. | +40% | +100% | +300% |
| EXP | x15 | x75 | x90 |
| Drop / Adena | x10 | x50 | x65 |
Blue and Red champions spawn up to level 86, Gold ones up to 75.
All champions have a full set of debuff resists, so farming them requires attention to debuff mechanics no matter which champion has spawned.
Emperor — a unique top-rank monster, a kind of mini raid boss. Very strong but also very profitable, easy to spot by its golden beam. Its lifetime is 5 minutes; it is always aggressive and attacks players around it.
Gold Champion
Abilities:
Reborn — infects all monsters around; infected monsters create 3 copies of themselves after death
Power Curse — infects all monsters around, greatly raising their stats and their Drop/Exp/Spoil
Reproduction — creates 1 to 4 copies of all creatures around; the copies are not champions
Sacrifice — makes all monsters within a radius of 2000 attack the chosen character
Champions Fall — turns all monsters around into Blue Champions for 5 minutes
Instances
- Labyrinth of the Abyss — entry used to be tied to certain days of the week; now, like the Kamaloka Hall of the Abyss, it is available 1 time a day. Guaranteed boss rewards are removed from the drop
- Freya and Blessed Freya — shared cooldown: visiting one of the two instances puts both on cooldown. M. Def. is raised to 320, the radius of all skills is increased to 3000, skills hit characters on both the first and the second floor of the instance, and a player who stays dead for 15 seconds is automatically teleported out.
- Hall of Illusions — no longer consumes Dimension Fragments
Chests
The old familiar chests opened with a Maestro's Key have been replaced by updated Treasure Chests. They need no key, are clearly split by Grade and contain a completely updated reward pool.
On X5, chests of all grades respawn at once — from regular C-grade up to the top S84. Chests are placed in the classic farming locations and respawn at random, one per spot.

Divisions
In short: divisions are how epic jewelry is obtained on Scryde. Clans are split into divisions by strength: top clans fight top clans, mid clans fight mid clans, and a small clan has content of its own instead of being a spectator at the lair.
The main difference from the classic epic hunt: the reward does not go only to whoever finished off the boss. For taking part clans get essences — a currency spent in the division shop. The system counts each clan's contribution to the fight (PvP and damage to the boss), and inside the clan the essences are split between players automatically — based on class, Gear Score, damage and PvP participation.
How it works on X5. At the start only Big War is open — a division where all clans begin in a common pot. Mid War and Low War will be added later, once the server forms its first sides and the real balance of power becomes clear.
| Division | Limit |
|---|---|
| Big War | 99 players — 11 parties |
| Mid War | 72 players — 8 parties |
| Low War | 36 players — 4 parties |
Divisions are isolated zones; you cannot enter above the limit.
Rewards. In Big War, for the kill clans get essences and the boss's main drop. If a clan takes the drop, the matching share of essences is subtracted from the common pool — the winner does not get both the full drop and the max reward through the shop at once. You will have to choose.
One kind of essence goes to epic jewelry, the other to equipment and consumables.
Sieges, castles and Territory Wars
The siege is the server's main clan event: once a week clans storm castles, and the winner gets not only stat bonuses but also territory taxes and a share of the global treasury — more on it below.
Every siege participant automatically gets the Mercenary quests:
| Quest name | Condition | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Battlefield | Kill 10 unique characters in the siege zone of any Castle | 24 Territory Badge |
| Cruel Battlefield | Kill 20 unique characters in the siege zone of any Castle | 24 Territory Badge |
Siege registration signs the clan up for all castles at once — you can change the target right during the siege: start at one gate, finish at another.
A castle flag gives stat bonuses and is tied firmly to its castle — you cannot steal someone else's and carry it away:
| Castle | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Aden | STR +1, DEX +1, CON +1, INT +1, WIT +1, MEN +1 |
| Rune | STR +1, DEX +1, CON +1, WIT +1 |
| Schuttgart | STR +1, WIT +1, MEN +1 |
| Goddart | STR +1, WIT +1, MEN +1 |
| Dion | STR +1, INT +1 |
| Giran | DEX +1, WIT +1 |

Sieges have their own set of reworked skills: Build Headquarters with two upgrade levels, and the Summon Swoon Cannon siege weapon balanced to the server's stats.
Olympiad

Scryde arena world record
The ranked Olympiad runs two days a week — Friday and Saturday. Classic fights allow 70 matches per period.
At the start characters are split into three zones by PTS count:
| Zone | PTS |
|---|---|
| First | 0–45 |
| Second | 46–149 |
| Third | 150+ |
This way characters with very different points will meet each other less often, and the fight within each group will be tighter.
- Olympiad winners get hero status. The hero weapon is an analogue of Vesper +8
- Places 1 to 10 get extra rewards in the form of runes. Olympiad cloaks also stay, but without extra bonuses
- Class fights are disabled
- The command /olympiadstat or /o (the short version) does not require targeting a character and shows the statistics of your own character only. After a fight ends, the opponent's PTS count is not shown
- Registration has a HWID check. If a character from the same device is already registered or is in a stadium, you cannot register a second one
- Kamael can use any hero weapon, not only the ancient one
- Olympiad enchant limit — +6/+6/+6
- Arena chances:
| Arena | Chance |
|---|---|
| Open Arena | 50% |
| Fountain | 20% |
| 4 pillars | 15% |
| Gargoyles | 15% |
