Block the Lord's Escape

Up until very recently, we had managed to stabilize and control each area by occupying the Seed of Infinity. But now the power of Ekimus is again growing strong, and the undead have again awakened and re-occupied both areas. We think Ekimus will be again reach full strength very soon.

The Predators of Soul are directly supplying him with energy. Unless they are stopped, the entire Seed will fall into the possession of the undead.

We need volunteers to help defend the Heart of Infinity. Will you join them?

I don't know how you got here, but I can't let you enter. I'd be practically signing your death warrant! Listen, friend, you're out of your league here.

This is not time to take on a defense mission in the Heart of Infinity area. This mission can be only done at the Seed of Infinity when our forces are not attacking it.

• Ask about the Seed of Infinity

I will tell you about the area you will enter and what you must do there.

The Heart of Infinity consists of 6 rooms connected to a circular passage. In the center of the passage you will find what we call the Center Tumor. Soul Predators roam the passage, sucking soul energy which they use to re-awaken Ekimus.

Your mission is to prevent the Center Tumor from becoming a Soul Coffin capable of directly supplying energy to Ekimus. If 20 Soul Coffins are created, you will have failed.

The key to this battle is to defeat the Soul Predators, who will appear in greater numbers.

Also, once a Soul Coffin is created, Ekimus' Evil Dog of the Netherworld will appear in anticipation of his master's resurrection. That creature cannot be slain. Do you understand?
