Alternative 2nd profession quest

Good Work's Reward

The quest is open from level 39.

• Step 1 – The Giran smithy. Go to the smithy in Town of Giran and talk to Blueprint Seller Daeger. He says his old friend Mark was supposed to drop by but never came.

• Step 2 – Back to Daeger. Talk to Daeger again — he cannot go looking for his friend himself, afraid they would miss each other on the road, so he asks you to find Mark.

• Step 3 – Looking for Mark. Go to the western gate of Town of Giran and find Mark lying half dead. Talk to him, and the quest monster Pursuer appears at once. Kill it (if someone is already fighting it, just wait and talk to Mark again).

• Step 4 – Mark is poisoned. Talk to Mark once more. He is wounded and poisoned; he gives you Bloody Cloth Fragment and asks you to go back to Daeger.

• Step 5 – Back to Daeger. Return to Daeger and give him the piece of cloth. He knows nothing about poisons, but he knows someone who does.

• Step 6 – Talking to Helvetia. Find Trader Helvetia in Giran and talk to her.

• Step 7 – Paying for the antidote. Talk to Helvetia again and pay Adena 3,000,000. She gives you Helvetia's Antidote

• Step 8 – A cure for Mark. Go back to the western gate, find Mark and give him the antidote.

• Step 9 – The last talk with Daeger. Go to Daeger and talk to him — you will have to wait and talk again.

• Step 10 – The Black Marketeer of Mammon. Daeger sends you to the Black Marketeer of Mammon. Go to him and choose your class.

Reward: the Black Marketeer of Mammon gives all 3 marks needed for the second class transfer. For every mark you already got the usual way you are paid back Adena 1,000,000, and you pick only the missing ones. The class itself can be taken only at level 40.
