Saga of the Ghost Hunter

Saga of the Ghost Hunter is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 76+. It starts with Black Cat in Hunters Village.

The Third Class Transfer Quest for an Abyssal Walker to become a Ghost Hunter.

Walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Abyss Walker: this saga turns the character into a Ghost Hunter at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Drakon and Donath, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Monument Watcher Ezekiel, Archon of Halisha and Monument Defender Azrael.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Start the quest with Black Cat (Hunters Village).

  2. Talk to Drakon (Town of Goddard).

  3. Talk to Donath (Hot Springs).

    He asks for Ice Crystal.

  4. Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Return to Donath (Hot Springs). You receive: Donath's' Note - Vol.1.

  6. Return to Drakon (Town of Goddard). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Plains of Glory).

  2. Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2. Where: Monastery of Silence.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Valley of Saints).

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Borderland Fortress).

    Touching the third tablet calls Monument Watcher Ezekiel. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill Monument Watcher Ezekiel (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Borderland Fortress).

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Talk to Hermit (Ketra Orc Outpost).

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Return to Hermit (Ketra Orc Outpost). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Garden of Beasts).

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Talk to Hermit (Wall of Argos).

  2. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700. Where: Shrine of Loyalty.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Borderland Fortress).

  5. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Forest of the Dead).

    At the sixth tablet Monument Defender Azrael appears together with Aria Firstmatter. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Aria Firstmatter: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Forest of the Dead).

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Return to Black Cat (Hunters Village) to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Ice Crystal and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Black Cat, so come back at level 76 or higher.

    Black Cat, a venerable member of the guild, says that you must obtain the power that was forbidden by the gods. Meet Drunkard Master Drakon in the Town of Goddard to find out more.

    Master Drakon wants Donath's secret recipe book. Visit Master Chef Donath in the Hot Springs area.

  3. Search for Ice Crystals

    Master Chef Donath asks you to find him some Ice Crystals that he will trade you for his cookbook. He suggests you talk to Chef Jeremy in the Hot Springs area.

  4. Delivering the Cookbook

    Chef Donath gives you his cookbook in exchange for the Ice Crystals. Take it to Master Drakon.

  5. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 1

    Master Drakon says that you must obtain the forbidden power that is contained within the Tablets of Vision and tells you where to find the first Resonance Amulet and Tablet of Vision.

    Near the end of communion, the tablet shows the location of the next stone.

    Get the next Resonance Amulet from the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge.

  7. Commune with the Tablet of Vision - 2

    You've obtained the Resonance Amulet from the Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge. Start communing with the second tablet.

    The second Tablet of Vision shows you the way to the third tablet.

  9. Commune with the Tablet of Vision - 3

    Commune with the third tablet using the Resonance Amulet that you took from Ezekiel.

  10. A Mysterious Hermit - 1

    The third Tablet of Vision shows a Human form. He appears to be somewhere between the Town of Goddard and the Ketra Orc Outpost. Find him!

  11. The Hermit's Test

    The hermit says that you must prove yourself before getting the Resonance Amulet, and orders you to get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from the Ketra Orcs.

    To do so, you must gain their trust and prove your wisdom. Meet Ketra's Messenger Wahkan.

  12. The Hermit's Test

    The hermit says that you must prove yourself before getting the Resonance Amulet and tells you to get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from the Varka Silenos.

    To do so, you must gain their trust and prove your wisdom. Speak with Naran Ashanuk, their messenger.

  13. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 4

    The hermit gives you the Resonance Amulet and orders you to find the fourth Tablet of Vision and commune with it.

  14. A Mysterious Hermit - 2

    The Tablet of Vision shows a Human form and tells you to follow the road to the Wall of Argos from the Town of Goddard.

  15. Archon of Halisha

    The hermit gives you another test to learn the location of the Tablet of Vision.

    He says that you must draw the Archon of Halisha out by attacking his minions northeast of the Wall of Argos, or confront him directly in the Imperial Tomb, kill him and take his Resonance Amulet.

  16. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 5

    You've obtained the Resonance Amulet by killing the Archon of Halisha. Use it to commune with the fifth Tablet of Vision.

  17. Hero vs. Archangel

    When the communion with the fifth Tablet of Vision was nearly complete, it directed you to the sixth Tablet of Vision. Go there!

    Aria Firstmatter gave you the Resonance Amulet when Monument Guardian Azrael ran away. Now commune with the last tablet.

  19. Ghost Hunter

    You've finished communing with all the Tablets of Vision. Return to the Black Cat and tell her what you've learned.
