Saga of the Dreadnought

Saga of the Dreadnought is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 76+. It starts with Aiken in Town of Aden.

Warlords are the storm of the battlefield. A girl has arisen in the land of Elmore who is known as the greatest Warlord who has ever lived! It's said that she's protected by a dragon! Why has she come back?

Walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Warlord: this saga turns the character into a Dreadnought at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Ulrich and Donath, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against White Wing Commander, Archon of Halisha and Dark Angel Othiel.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Start the quest with Aiken (Town of Aden).

  2. Talk to Ulrich (Town of Goddard).

  3. Talk to Donath (Hot Springs).

    He asks for two things: Ice Crystal and Big White Nimble Fish.

  4. Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Big White Nimble Fish is a fishing catch; the quest journal says it takes a fisherman with a Fishing skill of level 23–25. The fish can be traded, so you can also buy it from another player.

  6. Return to Donath (Hot Springs). You receive: Dead Souls Fish Soup.

  7. Return to Ulrich (Town of Goddard). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Plains of Glory).

  2. Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2. Where: Monastery of Silence.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Valley of Saints).

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Shrine of Loyalty).

    Touching the third tablet calls White Wing Commander. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill White Wing Commander (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Shrine of Loyalty).

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Talk to Bernhard (Town of Goddard).

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Return to Bernhard (Town of Goddard). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Garden of Beasts).

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Talk to Mysterious Wizard (Forest of the Dead).

  2. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700. Where: Shrine of Loyalty.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Borderland Fortress).

  5. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Rune Harbor).

    At the sixth tablet Dark Angel Othiel appears together with Leona Blackbird. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Leona Blackbird: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Rune Harbor).

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Return to Aiken (Town of Aden) to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Ice Crystal and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Aiken, so come back at level 76 or higher.

  1. The Pilgrimage Begins

    One of the best Warlords alive, the Bride of Fire Dragon Leona Blackbird was spotted near the Town of Goddard. Visit Guard Ulrich of the Town of Goddard and ask him about her.

  2. Find the Legendary Dish

    Guard Ulrich asks you to do him a favor before he tells you about her and asks you to bring him some fish soup of spirit. Master Chef Donath in the Hot Springs area of Goddard knows how to make it. Visit him and ask him to cook for you.

  3. Searching for Ingredients

    Master Chef Donath needs Ice Crystals and a nimble white fish.

    You can get some Ice Crystals if you do what Chef Jeremy asks and get the nimble white fish from a fisherman with a skill level of 23 - 25.

  4. Completed Dish

    Master Chef Donath makes you the soup of spirit, along with an explanation of how it promotes long life. Hurry up and take this dish to Guard Ulrich in the Town of Goddard.

  5. The First Communion

    You've got the Resonance Amulet. Commune with the Tablet of Vision that is just south of the Tower of Insolence.

  6. Guardians of the Resonance Amulet

    The Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge near the Tablet of Vision have the second Resonance Amulet. Destroy them and take their Resonance Amulet.

  7. The Second Communion

    You've got the Resonance Amulet from the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge. Commune with the Tablet of Vision.

    After communing with the second tablet, you feel a Guardian waiting for you at the third tablet. A divine roadblock to keep you from the ways of the dragon. Read all you can about Leona and get ready for a vicious fight. He awaits you near the third tablet.

  9. The Third Communion

    You've defeated the White Wing Commander and taken the Resonance Amulet. All-powerful dragon of the martial arts! What could have frightened the gods so?

    Master Bernhardt of the Town of Goddard has the fourth Resonance Amulet. Visit him and get it.

    To get the Divine Stone of Wisdom, you must gain the trust of the Ketra Orcs. Speak with Wahkan, their messenger.

    To get the Divine Stone of Wisdom, you decided to help the Varka Silenos. Prove yourself to their messenger, Ashanuk, and gain the trust of the Varka Silenos.

    You have obtained the fourth Resonance Amulet. Use it to communicate with the fourth Tablet of Vision.

  14. Mysterious Wizard

    A Mysterious Wizard in the Forest of the Dead has the fifth Resonance Amulet. Speak with him and get the Resonance Amulet.

  15. Halisha's Minions

    The Archon of Halisha has the fifth Resonance Amulet. Lure the archon out by attacking his minions in the Shrine of Loyalty or attack him inside the Imperial Tomb.

  16. The Fifth Communion

    You've got the fifth Resonance Amulet. Now head to the fifth tablet in the northwestern corner of the Wall of Argos.

    During the fifth communion, you see a messenger from the gods. He waits beside the sixth Tablet of Vision. Can you really fight against his power?

    Occasionally, Warlords must use the power of the dragon for peaceful purposes. Speak with Master Aiken in the Town of Aden and talk about what you've gained and lost during this pilgrimage.

    You aren't skilled enough to actually do the things you've learned on your pilgrimage. Train until you reach level 76 and then return to Master Aiken.
