Path of the Orc Monk
Path of the Orc Monk is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 18+. It starts with Gantaki Zu Urutu in Orc Village.
Orc Monks are masters of the traditional Orc martial art, kabart. The path of Monk requires that they receive scrolls from two masters.
Walkthrough
The first class transfer for an Orc Fighter who becomes a Monk and later a Tyrant. Two masters each give a scroll. The first one wants three small hunts done with a blunt weapon, the second one a dozen kills with bare hands or fist weapons.
Fiery Spirit Scroll
Start the quest with Gantaki Zu Urutu (Orc Village). You receive: Pomegranate.
Talk to Rosheek (Frozen Waterfalls). You receive: 1st Leather Pouch.
For all three tasks of Rosheek only kills made with a blunt weapon count.
Hunt Kasha Bear (lv. 15) until you have: Kasha Bear Claw ×5. Where: Frozen Waterfalls.
Return to Rosheek (Frozen Waterfalls). You receive: 2nd Leather Pouch.
Hunt Kasha Blade Spider (lv. 17) until you have: Kasha Blade Spider Talon ×5. Where: Frozen Waterfalls.
Return to Rosheek (Frozen Waterfalls). You receive: 3rd Leather Pouch.
Hunt Scarlet Salamander (lv. 17) until you have: Scarlet Salamander Scale ×5. Where: Cave of Trials.
Return to Rosheek (Frozen Waterfalls). You receive: Fiery Spirit Scroll, Rosheek's Letter.
Return to Gantaki Zu Urutu (Orc Village). You receive: Gantaki's Letter of Recommendation.
Iron Will Scroll
Talk to Kasman (Gludin Village). You receive: Fig.
Talk to Toruku (Oracle of Dawn). You receive: 4th Leather Pouch.
From here on fight with bare hands or a fist weapon, otherwise nothing drops.
Hunt Vuku Orc Fighter (lv. 17) until you have: Vuku Orc Tusk ×3. Where: Windmill Hill.
Hunt Ratman Warrior (lv. 19) until you have: Ratman Fang ×3. Where: Entrance to the Ruins of Despair.
Hunt Langk Lizardman Warrior (lv. 17) until you have: Langk Lizardman Tooth ×3. Where: Langk Lizardmen Dwellings.
Hunt Felim Lizardman Warrior (lv. 17) until you have: Felim Lizardman Tooth ×3. Where: Fellmere Harvesting Grounds.
Return to Toruku (Oracle of Dawn). You receive: Iron Will Scroll, Toruku's Letter.
Return to Kasman (Gludin Village) to complete the quest. You receive: Khavatari Totem.
Tips
- When five items of a kind are collected they turn into a full pouch by themselves; that pouch is what Rosheek takes.
- Schuttgart route: after the first scroll ask Gantaki for the other teacher. Aren in the Valley of the Lords wants 6 × Kasha Spider's Tooth from Kasha Blade Spider or Kasha Fang Spider and then Horn of Baar Dre Vanul from Baar Dre Vanul, all with bare hands or fist weapons. The quest then ends with Moira in Schuttgart.
- At level 20 take Khavatari Totem to the High Prefect of the orc guild in Gludin.

Find Khavatari Rosheek
You must undertake this quest in order to change your class to Monk. Gantaki Zu Urutu will instruct you in traditional Orc martial arts. He informs you that you must receive a scroll from two Masters. Go first to Khavatari Rosheek, who is training somewhere on the Immortal Plateau.

1st Spirit Scroll
Khavatari Rosheek says that he doesn't have time to waste on a novice like you. He orders you to go and slay five Kasha bears, collect their claws in a pouch and bring them to him. You must use only fist-type weapons for this task.

You have slain five Kasha bears. Return to Khavatari Rosheek. You will find him near the Frozen Waterfalls.

2nd Spirit Scroll
Khavatari Rosheek is meditating. He orders you to slay five Kasha blade spiders, collect their claws in a pouch and bring them back to him. You must only use fist-type weapons for this task.

You have collected five claws of Kasha blade spiders in a pouch. Take the pouch to Khavatari Rosheek near the Frozen Waterfalls.

3rd Spirit Scroll
Khavatari Rosheek is about to go on break. He tells you to slay five Scarlet Salamanders, collect their scales in a pouch and bring it back to him. You must only use fist-type weapons for this task.

Second Scroll
Prefect Kasman in Gludin Village will tell you about the second scroll you will need to obtain to become a Monk.

Iron Will Scroll
In order to find the second scroll, you must meet Khavatari Toruku. He is located near the fork in the road in the northern part of Gludin Village.

Trial of Iron
Khavatari Toruku asks that you defeat many different types and levels of warriors. Slay a Vuku Orc fighter on Windmill Hill, a ratman warrior in a corner of the Ruins, a Langk Lizardman in the Langk Lizardman Dwellings and a Felim Lizardman in the Fellmere Harvesting Grounds. You must kill three of each for a total of 12, collect the proofs in a pouch and take them to Khavatari Toruku. You may use only bare hands, or hand-to-hand weapons for this task. Hunt Vuku Orc fighters, ratman warriors, Langk Lizardman warriors, and Felim Lizardman warriors.
Return toruku
You have collected all of the proofs. Deliver the pouch to Khavatari Toruku.

You have passed the Testimony of Khavatari Toruku, and thus received the Iron Will Scroll. Return to Prefect Kasman of Gludin Village.
