Pailaka - Injured Dragon

Pailaka - Injured Dragon is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 73–77. It starts with Ketra Orc Shaman in Town of Goddard.

Third Pailaka quest. Energy is included in the quest reward. Upon completing, a fixed amount of energy points are recovered. (If completion takes place while energy is full, you do not receive any additional energy.)

Pailaka - Injured Dragon walkthrough

The third Pailaka: a solo instance in a copy of the Varka camp for characters of level 73–77. It can be done once, on the main class or on a subclass, and a character of level 78 can no longer take it. Four walls of monsters stand between you and the fire dragon Latana; the reward is Pailaka Shirt with a full bar of vitality. The timer is 90 minutes.

  1. Town of Goddard. Take the quest from Ketra Orc Shaman.

    He stands by the stairs near the western exit of the town. Take every buff you can before you talk to him.

  2. Talk to Ketra Orc Supporter. You receive: Spear of Silenos.

    The spear is for everyone who has no strong attack of their own. With it every critical hit raises a counter; at seven use its area skill, which stuns and almost clears a wall.

  3. Hunt Grazing Antelope (lv. 72), Grazing Antelope (lv. 73).

    Before the first wall turn left to the meadow of antelopes. They drop Quick Healing Potion and Pailaka Instant Shield, the two items the whole run depends on.

  4. The walls. The first one blocks the straight road: going around it is useless, you are teleported back. A second row appears behind it when you come close, but it disappears by itself once the front row is dead. The second wall stands on a bridge a little to the left, the third in a passage further left. If the monsters face you, you are going the right way.

  5. Talk to Ketra Orc Intelligence Officer. Hand over: Spear of Silenos. You receive: Enhanced Spear of Silenos.

    After the third wall take the left turn at the fork. This officer improves the spear and casts up to five buffs of your choice. A second officer further on makes the spear complete.

  6. Kill Latana (lv. 75).

    At the next fork turn right: the fourth wall stands there, and the dragon is behind it. He has little health but a painful spell. When he rears up to cast, use Pailaka Instant Shield.

  7. Talk to Ketra Orc Supporter to complete the quest. You receive: Pailaka Shirt.

    He appears after the kill and takes back the spear and the unused bottles.

Tips

  • If you reach the dragon without shields and potions, go back to the last fork and take the other way: behind a small wall there is a second meadow, where Grazing Flava and Grazing Elder Antelope drop plenty of both.
  • Death is not the end of the run. Return to town, restore the buffs and enter again: the monsters you killed do not come back.
  • You can step back to rest in the middle of a fight: the walls do not chase you beyond a short distance.
