Ah, an adventurer! Are you looking for a job? Since the discovery of this Primeval Island, Aden has added a wharf for those interested in seeing the strange new island for themselves. In fact, we're getting flooded with adventurers and wizards eager to uncover the island's mysteries or test their mettle against the terrible creatures there.
We handle tickets here for ships bound for the island as well as offering accommodations for those who wish to trade with the natives.
Now we have expanded our service to connect adventurers with those in need of their services.
Ah, there is one request I have...
- "What kind of request?"
On this Primeval Island you'll find ancient creatures called dinosaurs -- you'll never see anything like them in Aden, believe me! According to wise wizards, even the gods and Giants were afraid of the dinosaurs. They cannot be found in Aden -- thankfully -- but are still plentiful in that strange island.
Around the wharf, you'll find only relatively weak ones, but they are still a challenge for even the hardiest adventurer.
The wizard Philberg has been pestering me to acquire some of those creatures' bone for study. If you defeat them and bring back their bones, I will purchase them from you on his behalf. What do you say?
- "Doesn't sound that tough -- count me it."
- "Ah, I really can't stand reptiles... Sorry, but I'll pass."
Sure, I understand. I don't think this island is the place for you, though, if you're afraid of reptiles. (So much for being an adventurer!)

I have just one request, but hmmm...
I don't think that you're suited for this particular task.
(Only characters who are level 75 or higher may undertake this quest.)
Ah, you are a true adventurer! Go and hunt Deinonychus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Wild Striders and bring back the Plain Dinosaur Bones. I will purchase them from you on Karakawei's behalf.
Just as a favor to you, I heard from a friend of mine who trades with the natives on the island that their shaman is also in the market for dinosaur bones. While you're at it, you may want to try to contact him as well.
- "Where is the shaman?"
- "What will he give me for the bones?"
Hmm...
I this task is a little out of your league, friend.
(Only characters who are level 75 or higher may undertake this quest.)
The shaman lives on the island's southern Primeval Plains. He doesn't like to have contact with outsiders, though, so you'll need someone he trusts to vouch for you before he'll likely talk to you. There is a native warrior, Orahochin, who lives at the foot of the mountain between the southern shore of Primeval Plains and the Lost Nest. I've heard that he is more accepting of outsiders.
If you give 300 Plain Dinosaur bones to the native shamans, you will receive an ingredient for making an A-grade top tier weapon.
Lately, I've heard that you can also receive an S80 recipe as a reward. They say that you need 100~300 Plain Dinosaur bones depending on the item you choose.
But if you go through me, there'll be no hassle and you'll be able to exchange it for plain old adena. Think about it - don't do anything you'll regret later.
Oh! You've broughtPlain Dinosaur Bones. They will certainly further Philberg's research...and I'm sure he'll pay well for them.
- Exchange the Plain Dinosaur Bones for Adena.
- "I'm going to take the bones to the shaman instead."
Please go and collect those dinosaur bones. Karakawei has been pressing me even harder these days.
Without the bones, I think his research has ground to a halt.
He's planning to present his findings to the Mizbody Wizard Society as soon as he can, and I know he's getting anxious.
So get started!
Hunt Deinonychus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Wild Striders, and bring back Plain Dinosaur Bones
Well done! Philberg will be very pleased.
Here's the fee we agreed upon; I trust it's sufficient.
Say, since you've done such a good job, how about continuing this kind of work?
- Keep hunting.
- Say you want to quit.
Glad to hear it! I think you'll make us both rich men at this rate. Go and hunt Deinonychus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Wild Strider, and bring back the Plain Dinosaur Bones.
Well, thanks for your help, then. It was a pleasure doing business with you, and I wish you the best of luck during your stay on this island.
Thanks for your help; it was a pleasure doing business with you. I know that Karakawei is going to be one happy wizard! Farewell, and I wish you the best of luck during your stay on this Primeval Isle.
Hey, that wasn't really what I had in mind... Ah, I suppose it is your decision how to dispose of the Plain Dinosaur Bones. You did risk your own skin for them, after all. But are you sure that this is the most profitable thing for you to do?
- "Where is the shaman?"
- "What is the shaman offering for the bones?"

My race traditionally avoids dealings with outsiders!
Shoo! Begone!
If you wish to learn something of this island, go to the warehouse at the wharf and speak there with one of your own kind.
Shoo!
Leave while you are still able! Begone!
Once our race was strong and wise, Shilen's chosen people to govern these powerful primitive creatures, dinosaurs, who struck fear into the hearts of the very gods themselves. But long ago, Shilen fell silent; our prayers to her now go unanswered.
- Ask why she no longer responds.
You are the adventurer from then... What business do you have with our race?
- Ask about the rise and fall of the Elrokian race.
- Please use the Plain Dinosaur bones for your "ritual." (A-grade top tier weapon ingredient reward)
- Please use the Plain Dinosaur bones to make the "medicine." (S80 armor recipe reward)
- I'm not interested in helping a primitive race like yours to flourish. Figure it out on your own.

We don't know that either. Perhaps our race has done something unfaithful? Anyway, we must regain the blessing of Silere. Our people grew weaker after losing the blessing... eventually we became ill, and were defeated by the dinosaurs that we used to watch over... Our blood itself is becoming weak.
Adventurer, we need to make a sacrifice to Silere in order to cure our disease.
Will you donate some Plain Dinosaur bones to us? If you help with the ritual to restore the blessing, we will give you an ingredient for making a weapon, and if you help make the medicine to cure the disease, we will give you an armor recipe.

To undertake the necessary ritual, we need 300 Plain Dinosaur Bones. Unless I do this, the curse cannot be lifted; Shilen's grace will be forever denied to us, I fear.
Please make haste and hunt Deinonychus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Wild Striders and bring back 300 Bones!
Thank you, adventurer...
We have started the commemoration ritual with the proofs that you have brought...
(The shaman seems to be losing consciousness.)
....
(The shaman suddenly regained consciousness!)
Silere has accepted our ritual and seems to have been satisfied!
Thank you, adventurer...
Please accept our tribe's sincere thanks...
Please bring us more Plain Dinosaur bones so that we can continue to conduct our commemoration ritual.
Hmmmph! Arrogant, you are, like all outsiders. If my race still had the power of the old days, you would treat us with the respect that is our due!
Ah, Shilen...forgive us!
You, leave now if you still refuse to help us in our time of need.
If you bring us the Plain Dinosaur bones to heal our illness, I will give you an appropriate reward depending on the number of bones you bring back.
What will you choose?
- Check items that can be selected.
We need a certain number of Plain Dinosaur Bones to make the medicine we need. This may only be a matter of profit for you, but to us it's a matter of survival! There's no room to bargain. Unless you bring me the exact number we need, we will not reward you.
So hurry and hunt Deinonychus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus and Wild Striders and bring me the number of Plain Dinosaur Bones I asked for!
Thank you, adventurer.
I think I can make a good medicine with the bones you gave me. Now we can stay alive a little longer...
(Despite his words, Karakawei seems depressed.)
Take it as a token of our tribe's appreciation. And please bring more Plain Dinosaur Bones so we can make even more medicine.
