Path of the Scavenger
Path of the Scavenger es una quest de Lineage 2 Scryde (única, en solitario) para personajes de nivel 18+. Empieza con Pippi en Dwarven Village.

Guía paso a paso de Path of the Scavenger
La quest de la primera profesión para el spoiler: Path to become a Scavenger (Scavenger, luego Bounty Hunter). La quest es bastante rebuscada, y todo porque hay que encontrar tres veces a Master Toma, que anda de un lado a otro por tres localizaciones, y se oyen constantemente gritos de "pero dónde se esconde este puñetero". Cómo y dónde encontrar a este NPC se cuenta más abajo, después de la guía.
Dwarven Village. Acepta la quest con Collector Pippi. Recibes:
Pippi's Letter of Recommendation.La quest se coge en el nivel 19 en la aldea de los enanos con Collector Pippi.
Habla con Grocer Mion.
Pippi nos manda con la mercachifle Mion (Trader Mion), en la tienda, y ella te hará correr por toda la aldea muchísimas veces, incluso a los mismos NPC (los NPC están en la herrería, la tienda de armaduras, el almacén y el edificio grande junto a la gatekeeper); corremos hasta que Mion te dé, en lugar de un paquete, la Mion's Letter. Los paquetes van a tres NPC: Bronk, Shari y Zimenf.
Habla con Master Toma. Recibes:
Bear Picture.Con esa carta vamos por primera vez con Master Toma, tan querido por todos. Encontramos a Master Toma; nos manda a conseguir 5 Honey Jar.
Western Mining Zone (teletransporte desde Dwarven Village). Caza Hunter Bear (nv. 14).
Nos teleportamos a la zona oeste (en las crónicas C4 no existe ese teleport, habrá que ir a pie pasando Abandoned Coal Mines), desde el punto de teleport pasamos junto a las rocas grandes y vemos a los mobs Hunter Bear; les pegamos un buen rato, y tras farmear más o menos de 20 a 25 mobs se invoca el mob de quest Honey Bear.
Caza Honey Bear (nv. 17) hasta reunir:
Honey Jar ×5.Los entendidos aseguran que hay que spoilearlo sí o sí para recibir el objeto de quest. Así juntamos los 5 objetos y buscamos otra vez a Master Toma.
Vuelve con Master Toma. Entregas:
Honey Jar ×5. Recibes: 
Tarantula Picture.Toma nos manda a cazar Hunter Tarantula y Plunder Tarantula.
Spine Mountains. Caza Hunter Tarantula (nv. 16), Plunder Tarantula (nv. 17) hasta reunir:
Bead ×20.Están en el mismo sitio que los osos, solo que un poco más al norte y más cerca de la isla del NPC, o al otro lado del riachuelo desde el punto de teleport (se ven a simple vista). Si tuviste la suerte de pillar a Toma en la isla, allí estas arañas corren justo al lado de la isla. A las arañas hay que spoilearlas sí o sí, si no, no dan el objeto. Sacamos 20 Bead y otra vez a buscar a Tomita ).
Vuelve con Master Toma. Entregas:
Bead ×20. Recibes: 
Bead Parcel.Toma nos manda a Gludin con Warehouse Freightman Raut. Si antes me hiciste caso e hiciste las quests de los enanos en la aldea inicial, tienes tanto la ficha para ir a Gludin (Gatekeeper's Favor) como el SoE de teleport a Giran (Into the World).
Gludin Village. Busca a Warehouse Keeper Raut en el almacén. Entregas:
Bead Parcel. Recibes: 
Raut's Teleport Scroll.Raut te manda a Giran a rescatar al enano Torai.
Dragon Valley (teletransporte desde Town of Giran). Habla con Torai. Entregas:

Succubus Undies.Torai está en Death Pass: o teleport a Dragon Valley, desde el punto de teleport a la izquierda y otra vez a la izquierda, pero allí hay mobs entre los que con nivel 20 no pasamos ni de broma; es más fácil teleportarse a la localización Breka's Stronghold y llegar corriendo a Death Pass, donde se puede rodear a todos los mobs pegado a la pared. Rescatamos a Torai, él se teleporta a algún sitio, y ya nos toca volver también. En Giran vamos a la tienda de lujo con Galladucci y hacemos la quest de vuelta a la aldea de los enanos (The Road Home), o volvemos a Gludin por el teleport normal.
Gludin Village. Vuelve con Warehouse Keeper Raut en el almacén. Entregas:
Succubus Undies. Recibes: 
Ring of Raven.Warehouse Freightman Raut te felicita por la quest cumplida con éxito y te premia con la marca Ring of Raven para obtener la primera profesión.
Busca a Warehouse Chief Moke en el almacén para completar la quest. Entregas:
Ring of Raven.Hablamos aquí mismo con Warehouse Chief Moke y recibimos la profesión de Scavenger. En cuanto subas al nivel 35, ya puedes ir a hacer las quests de la segunda profesión (Bounty Hunter): Trial of the Guildsman, Testimony of Prosperity y Test of the Searcher.
Consejos
- Cómo encontrar a Master Toma, el escurridizo Tomita. Todo enano que se precie conoce a Master Toma. Y todo enano le ha soltado a este NPC unas cuantas maldiciones. Y es que este NPC hace falta para las quests obligatorias de profesión de todos los enanos, y hay que encontrarlo más de una vez. En la quest de primera profesión del spoiler hay que recibir de él nada menos que tres encargos y entregárselos, y esa acción (es decir, encontrarlo) no es ni mucho menos trivial. Toma tiene tres sitios de respawn estrictamente fijos, pero se mueve entre ellos de forma caótica, y hay además algunos matices.
- Los sitios donde aparece. 1. El foso de Abandoned Coal Mines. O corremos a pie o usamos el teleport a la mina. La primera sala la pasamos por la única salida, en la segunda, grande, todo recto hasta el final y giro a la izquierda por la rampa, la tercera es una sala pequeña con mobs agresivos, luego al pasillo y abajo, al foso. 2. La isla al norte de la localización: teleport a la zona este o a la oeste, la distancia a la isla es más o menos la misma. 3. La entrada a Mithril Mines. Solo ten en cuenta que hay nada más que dos entradas. Si miras el mapa, se ven la entrada izquierda y la de arriba; teleport hay solo a la izquierda, y Toma está en la de arriba, a la que no hay teleport, por eso muchos no lo encuentran. Nos teleportamos a la zona este y corremos un buen rato por el camino hasta la entrada superior de la mina de mithril.
- ¿Y sabes por qué de vez en cuando a Master Toma no se le encuentra en ningún punto de respawn? Hice experimentos: puse personajes en los tres puntos y con un cuarto hacía la quest. Pues este puñetero, cuando un jugador se le acerca, se teleporta a otro punto, quizá justo al que acabas de mirar. Fíjate en que, cuando te acercas a cierta distancia de su sitio de respawn, la pantalla del juego se congela un momento, como al acercarse a un raid boss. Justo en ese momento es cuando puede teleportarse. Yo suelo correr así: la isla, Mithril Mines, Coal Mines. Si no está en ningún sitio, otra vuelta. Y lo mejor, claro, es dejar personajes de vigía, porque la quest es larga.
- Ruta de Schuttgart: en la última conversación con Toma elige al amigo más cercano y lleva las cuentas a Yasheni en Schuttgart. Te ahorra el viaje a Dragon Valley y da el mismo Ring of Raven.

Puedes encontrar honey bears mientras cazas hunter bears. Para encontrar hunter bears, parte de la entrada oeste de las Abandoned Coal Mines y sube hacia el norte hasta llegar a la zona donde se unen dos costas. Se dice que en esa zona hay una gran población de hunter bears.
