La historia que más tarde lleva hasta Freya empieza con un mercader de hielo y sus informadores desaparecidos. Esta primera quest se abre al nivel 53 y no tiene ningún combate: cartas entre Rafforty y una mujer que solo aparece de noche, y una búsqueda entre personas convertidas en esculturas de hielo. Completarla es requisito para las cinco quests de nivel 82 que vienen después.

  1. Ice Merchant Cabin. Acepta la quest con Rafforty.

  2. Frost Lake. Habla con Misa. Recibes: Misa's Letter.

    Solo aparece durante la noche del juego. Desde la cabaña toma el paso del oeste hasta el puente, gira a la derecha antes de cruzarlo y sigue la orilla hacia el norte hasta el lago.
