Warehouse Keeper's Pastime
Warehouse Keeper's Pastime is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 C5: Oath of Blood for characters of level 40–52. It starts with Cliff in Town of Oren.
Trading is mind-numbing work! Freightmen must make up their own ways to kill time.
Warehouse Keeper's Pastime walkthrough
The quest is taken from level 40, after the second profession, from Cliff, who of course stands in the warehouse of the town of Oren. The point of the game is as simple as the Venus de Milo: you knock the quest items
Warehouse Keeper's Medal out of mobs and then play a game with the NPC on these medals, a game as simple as the Apollo Belvedere: you are offered a 3 by 3 square in which the numbers from one to nine are hidden, scattered over the cells in chaotic order. You choose any 6 numbers, and they open in the table according to your choice. The winning combination is when the opened numbers make three full lines (vertical, horizontal and diagonal). But if you gather the super rare combination with not a single line in the table, the prize will be much better. You can play for 10 medals (the reward will mostly be resources, one piece each) and for 100 medals (the reward will be C-grade things).
Town of Oren. Find Warehouse Freightman Cliff in the warehouse and take the quest.
Skyshadow Meadow (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Cadeine (lv. 50), Sanhidro (lv. 52), Connabi (lv. 54), Bartal (lv. 56), Luminun (lv. 58), Innersen (lv. 60) until you have:
Warehouse Keeper's Medal ×100.Of course you should play for 100 medals, but first they have to be collected. You can sit down to buy medals up, but I prefer knocking them out, since the mobs with the medal drop are rather tasty. By locations: Tanor Canyon, the group mobs Nightmare Lord, Nightmare Keeper and Nightmare Guide in one heap, and rare spellbooks drop from the last; Dragon Valley, Hunter Gargoyle and Dustwind Gargoyle in one clearing and the group mobs Dragon Bearer Warrior, Dragon Bearer Archer and Dragon Bearer Chief; Sea of Spores, Rotting Golem and Giant Monstereye; Hunters Valley, Weird Drake; The Cemetery, Grave Guard; Skyshadow Meadow, the group mobs Cadeine, Sanhidro and Connabi in one heap, all with very tasty drop and spoil, and Bartal, Luminun and Innersen, also a group with very tasty drop; Blazing Swamp, Conjurer Bat Lord, Conjurer Bat and Tulben. As you see, there are quite many mobs; I, for example, spend a lot of time in Skyshadow Meadow, so many medals drop for me. The drop is not 100%, but close to it.

Town of Oren. Return to Warehouse Freightman Cliff in the warehouse. Hand over:
Warehouse Keeper's Medal ×100.Now about the reward: for a win in the 10-medal game you will be given
Mithril Alloy,
Synthetic Cokes,
Varnish of Purity, C-grade enchant scrolls and so on, so we do not even consider that game. But the prize for the 100-medal game is much nicer, all the more so as you can play both with Cliff and with Baxt in Hunters Village. Their standard reward for three lines is the same, while the rare one differs. The reward for the 100-medal game when three lines are opened:
Aquastone Ring,
Scroll: Enchant Weapon (Grade C),
Drake Leather Armor or
Moonstone Earring. The reward for the 100-medal game when not a single line is opened: playing in Oren,
Divine Boots,
Katana or
Scroll: Enchant Weapon (Grade C); playing in Hunters Village,
Great Helmet,
Drake Leather Boots,
Divine Gloves,
Samurai Longsword or
Scroll: Enchant Weapon (Grade C).
Tips
- And now about the process itself, that is, about the game. I knocked out ten thousand medals and trudged off to Cliff to play. At first I poked at any numbers chaotically, and then decided that any combination could be a winning one, the main thing being how the numbers are arranged in the table to begin with. And I began poking with sense, that is, I always chose the combination 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, hoping that some day it would work. And you know, it worked. But here the cruellest disappointment awaited me: as a reward I was given a lousy
Great Helmet, which Cliff should not have had at all. In short, the old codger from the warehouse cheated me, a naive simpleton, leaving me without my dream of the boots but with a heap of unneeded things.
