Into the Flame

Into the Flame is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 C5: Oath of Blood for characters of level 60–80. It starts with Klein in Hall of Flames.

You'll need a set of floating stones to enter the Flame Pass within the Forge of the Gods.

Into the Flame walkthrough

The quest for the passage to the epic boss Valakas is taken from the NPC Klein, who stands before the entrance to the Hall of Flames in the Forge of the Gods.

  1. Forge of the Gods. Take the quest from Watcher of Valakas Klein.

    Klein tells you that to pass into the Hall of Flames you must have Floating Stone, and with that item he will let you go further. He has the item himself, of course, and can even give it to you, though not for free but in exchange for Vacualite. What that is and how to find it Hilda can tell, who stands in the smithy of Goddard. Nothing to be done, we go to Hilda.

  2. Town of Goddard. Find Blacksmith Hilda in the smithy.

    Hilda asks you to knock 50 pieces of Vacualite Ore out of the kookaburra, grendel and bandersnatch mobs, out of which she will put together Vacualite.

  3. Garden of Beasts. Hunt Kookaburra (lv. 67), Bandersnatch (lv. 69), Grendel (lv. 71) until you have: Vacualite Ore ×50.

    The mobs are right here, below Goddard, you only have to go down the steps: the kookaburras to the right, toward the castle, the grendels to the left, the wolves everywhere. It is most convenient to farm the quest either as a destroyer, gathering trains of wolves, since they are aggro and close by, or as a mage, simply running back and forth. As a rule a bunch of all sorts of supports tags along with you, who simply must farm the quest right now. We put them by the stairs to the town, gather a train and lead it to them.

  4. Town of Goddard. Return to Blacksmith Hilda in the smithy. You receive: Vacualite.

    We quickly farm 50 items for everybody and hand them to Hilda. There is no need at all to rush to Klein at once and change the item, since we will need it only when we get together to farm Valakas. So when we get together, then we will change it.

  5. Forge of the Gods. Return to Watcher of Valakas Klein to complete the quest. You receive: Floating Stone.

    Very important: as soon as we get the stone from Klein we take the quest again right away, so as not to drag ourselves here for the quest again later.

Tips

  • Klein stands deep inside the Forge of the Gods, behind several halls of aggressive monsters of level 70 and higher. Go with a party or pass under a stealth skill.
  • The stone is used up on entry, so the quest is repeated before every raid on Valakas.

  1. Get the Vacualite

    Klein says you must have a set of floating stones to enter the Flame Pass. You can create the set of floating stones with vacualite. Speak with Blacksmith Hilda in the Town of Goddard to obtain vacualite.

  2. Obtain the ore.

    You need Vacualite ore to make Vacualite. Hunt monsters in the Garden of Beasts and collect 50 Vacualite ore. Monsters to Hunt - Kookaburras, Bandersnatch and Grendels

  3. Return to Blacksmith Hilda

    You've collected the Vacualite ore you need. Return to Blacksmith Hilda in the Town of Goddard.
