Supplier of Reagents is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 C4: Scions of Destiny for characters of level 57–75. It starts with Wesley in Ivory Tower.

Supplier of Reagents walkthrough

A repeatable quest for levels 57–75 and the only source of the reagents that the subclass and Noblesse quests ask for. Wesley wants raw ingredients from the Tower of Insolence and the Blazing Swamp; you mix them in an urn into rarer and rarer substances and then pay him with them for recipes, parts of A-grade armor and finished B-grade pieces.

  1. Ivory Tower. Find Magic Trader Wesley in the basement and take the quest. You receive: Wesley's Mixing Stone.

    He trades on the lowest floor of the tower. The stone he gives is needed for the urn.

  2. Tower of Insolence (teleport from Town of Aden). Hunt Crendion (lv. 62), Hallate's Maid (lv. 66), Hallate's Guardian (lv. 69), Platinum Tribe Shaman (lv. 70), Platinum Guardian Shaman (lv. 73).

    Crendion gives Rotten Bone Piece and Quicksilver, Hallate's Guardian gives Demon's Blood, and the shamans and maids drop pouches and Reagent Box with several ingredients inside.

  3. Blazing Swamp (teleport from Town of Aden). Hunt Lava Wyrm (lv. 70), Hames Orc Shaman (lv. 74).

    Lava Wyrm gives Wyrm's Blood and Lava Stone; the orc shamans drop a pouch with Volcanic Ash, Moonstone Shard and more quicksilver.

  4. Ivory Tower. Find Alchemist's Mixing Urn in the basement.

    The urn stands on the same lowest floor. Put in a base ingredient and a catalyst and choose the fire: a calm flame always works, a hotter one gives more at the risk of losing everything.

  5. First level. With Blood Root: Wyrm's Blood becomes Dracoplasm, Rotten Bone Piece becomes Necroplasm, Demon's Blood becomes Demonplasm. With Volcanic Ash: Lava Stone becomes Magma Dust, Moonstone Shard becomes Moon Dust, Infernium Ore becomes Inferno Dust.

  6. Second level. With Quicksilver: Dracoplasm becomes Draconic Essence, Moon Dust becomes Lunargent, Necroplasm becomes Midnight Oil. With Sulfur: Magma Dust becomes Fire Essence, Demonplasm becomes Demonic Essence, Inferno Dust becomes Abyss Oil.

  7. Third level. Fire Essence and Demonic Essence make Hellfire Oil; Lunargent and Midnight Oil make Nightmare Oil.

  8. Return to Magic Trader Wesley in the basement to complete the quest.

    He exchanges the reagents: materials for the first level, 60% recipes of B-grade gloves and boots for Draconic Essence and Midnight Oil, parts of sealed A-grade armor for Lunargent, Demonic Essence, Abyss Oil and Fire Essence, and finished B-grade gloves and boots for the two oils.

Tips

  • Reagents can be traded, so the quest is also a way to earn: Lunargent and Hellfire Oil are always in demand because of Mimir's Elixir and the Noblesse chain.
  • Catalysts run out first. Blood Root comes only from boxes and Sulfur only from brown pouches, so the Tower of Insolence gives more useful loot than the swamp.

  1. Preparation of Reagents

    You have agreed to obtain the reagent that Magic Trader Wesley needs for his magic research. Slay the evil creatures in the Tower of Insolence and the Blazing Swamp and collect reagent ingredients. Once you collect the ingredients, use the mixing urn in the basement of the Ivory Tower to create reagents. Refer to the note that is attached to the mixing urn for instructions on how to use the urn and for the formulas used to mix the ingredients. In the Tower of Insolence you should hunt Crendions, Hallate's Maids, Hallate's Guardians, Platinum Tribe Shamans and Platinum Guardian Shamans. In the Blazing Swamp hunt Lava Wyrms and Hames Orc Shamans.
