Coin of Magic
Coin of Magic is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C4: Scions of Destiny for characters of level 40–60. It starts with Sorint in Hunters Village.
Who would have thought that coin collecting could lead to such horrific chaos throughout the kingdom? It seems impossible to control now! Can you get the Coin Collector Membership 1?
Coin of Magic walkthrough
A long collecting quest for levels 40–60 whose prizes are C-grade weapons, armor and jewelry. You join the Coin Collector's Club, knock three kinds of basic coins out of monsters and trade them up through the members of the club, either by exchange or in a guessing game. The higher your membership, the rarer the coins and the better the premiums.
Joining the club
Hunters Village. Find Warehouse Keeper Sorint in the warehouse and take the quest.
Find Guild President Bernard in the Warriors Guild.
He stands in the house next to the gatekeeper. His own coin is a family heirloom, so you have to find another.
Anghel Waterfall. Hunt Harit Lizardman Shaman (lv. 54), Harit Lizardman Matriarch (lv. 55) until you have:
Kaldis Gold Dragon.The coin drops only if the last blow is yours.
Hunters Village. Return to Guild President Bernard in the Warriors Guild.
Return to Warehouse Keeper Sorint in the warehouse. Hand over:
Kaldis Gold Dragon. You receive: 
Coin Collector Membership 3.
Basic coins from monsters
- Gold Wyvern drops from Timak Orc, Headless Knight, Royal Cave Servant, Shackle and Malruk Succubus Turen.
Silver Unicorn drops from Formor, Formor Elder, Tarlk Bugbear High Warrior, Oel Mahum, Oel Mahum Warrior and Vanor Silenos Shaman. 
Blood Medusa drops from Timak Orc Archer, Timak Orc Soldier, Timak Orc Shaman, Lakin, Hatar Hanishee and Punishment of Undead. Only these three coins come from monsters; every other coin is traded for.
Trading up
Level 3 members: Lorain at the entrance of the Cruma Tower, Page in Hunters Village and Hagger in Oren. Each of them gives one low-grade coin for ten basic ones, for example
Gold Knight for 10 × Gold Wyvern, or plays a guessing game that costs fewer coins when you guess quickly.Return to Warehouse Keeper Sorint in the warehouse. Hand over:
Gold Knight, Gold Drake, Blood Werewolf, Blood Drevanul, Silver Fairy, Silver Golem. You receive: 
Coin Collector Membership 2.Membership level 2 is given from character level 43 for one each of these six low-grade coins.
Level 2 members: Ralford in the Ivory Tower, Stan at the southern gate of Oren and Duning in Hunters Village. They give a mid-grade coin for five each of two low-grade ones, for example
Gold Wyrm for 5 × Gold Drake and 5 × Gold Knight.Return to Warehouse Keeper Sorint in the warehouse to complete the quest. Hand over:
Gold Wyrm, Gold Giant, Blood Succubus, Blood Basilisk, Silver Undine, Silver Dryad. You receive: 
Coin Collector Membership 1.Membership level 1 is given from character level 46 for one each of these six mid-grade coins. Level 1 members trade the rarest coins: Ferris in Aden, Collob in Giran and Pano in Floran.
Tips
- The whole climb costs about 20 of each basic coin for level 2 and about 200 of each for level 1, so farm all three kinds evenly.
- The guessing game is cheaper than a plain exchange only if you are lucky: a win on the second try costs four coins instead of ten, a win on the fourth costs nine.
- Premiums are taken from Sorint: the list grows with every membership level. Level 1 is also the entry ticket to Kail's Magic Coin, the similar quest for A-grade weapon recipes.

Level 3 Coin Collecting
Sorint accepts the coin and offers you a Coin Collector Membership Level 3 as a reward. Get the coins by hunting monsters. You can also trade low-grade coins with other Level 3 members. Ask Sorint for details.

Moving Up to Level 2
To advance your membership level, you must obtain the following low-grade coins. Trade with other members for them and then take them to Sorint.

You've become a level 2 member of the Coin Collector's Club. You're now eligible for the level 2 premium and may trade with level 2 members.

To become a Level 1 member, you must collect mid-grade coins. Take them to Sorint.
