Under the Shadow of the Ivory Tower

Under the Shadow of the Ivory Tower is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C3: Rise of Darkness for characters of level 40–40. It starts with Cema in Dragon Valley.

Under the Shadow of the Ivory Tower walkthrough

A repeatable quest of Hardin's Academy, levels 40 to 47, only for battle mages and summoners: Wizards, Sorcerers, Necromancers, Warlocks, Spellsingers, Elemental Summoners, Spellhowlers and Phantom Summoners.

Hardin's Academy. Take the quest from Magic Trader Cema.
Magic Trader Cema in Hardin's Academy. You get there by the gatekeepers of Oren, Hunters Village and Giran, or on foot through the Death Pass from Giran and then east along the river.
Ivory Tower Crater. Hunt Manashen Gargoyle (lv. 40), Enchanted Monstereye (lv. 41), Enchanted Stone Golem (lv. 42), Enchanted Iron Golem (lv. 43) until you have: Nebulite Orb.
In the Ivory Tower Crater the gargoyles, monster eyes and golems give Nebulite Orbs.
Hardin's Academy. Return to Magic Trader Cema. Hand over: Nebulite Orb.
Cema buys each orb for 125 adena or exchanges them for goods: a haste potion for 10, a scroll of resurrection for 15, a potion of alacrity or ten cursed bones for 20, a D-grade armor enchant scroll for 100, a C-grade one for 400.
Talk to Lich King Icarus to complete the quest.
For 200 orbs Cema also sells Ectoplasm Liqueur: use it with Lich King Icarus standing nearby for a chance at a D- or C-grade weapon enchant scroll, 500 D- or C-grade spiritshots or a scroll of escape.

Tips

The orbs can also be gambled in the crater. Collector Marsha at the foot of the tower plays rock-paper-scissors: a game costs 10 orbs, a win brings 20, a draw returns the stake. Collector Trumpin on the outer wall west of the bridge plays heads or tails: every guess in a row doubles the win plus 10 (10, 30, 70…), and you lose only 10 orbs per miss.

Nebulite Orb
Magic Trader Cema asks you to collect nebulite orbs by killing monsters in a crater near the Ivory Tower of Oren. Dwarven Collecter Marsha and Collector Trumpin were originally hired to do this work but Cema has not heard from them since they left. While collecting the orbs, if you happen to run into them, ask them what happened. Hunt manashen gargoyles, enchanted monster eyes, enchanted stone golems and enchanted iron golems.
