Quest: 1000 years, the End of Lamentation
1000 years, the End of Lamentation is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C3: Rise of Darkness for characters of level 48+. It starts with Gilmore in Death Pass.
Quest for adena, resources, enchant scrolls and C-grade items in Dragon Valley walkthrough
A quest for adena, resources, enchant scrolls and C-grade items. It is taken from level forty-eight from the NPC Gilmore, who is on duty at the entrance to Dragon Valley. Starting from the C5 chronicle there is a direct teleport to this place from Giran; those who play on C4 and lower will have to run on foot: the simplest and fastest way is to leave Giran towards Breka's Stronghold, then through Death Pass to the entrance of the valley. It is written that the quest is one-time, but in principle it is endless: after you hand in the next batch of items, Gilmore asks whether you want to go on with it. Of course we do; the quest can be cancelled at any time, but most likely you will not be able to take it again.
Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Take the quest from Antharas Watchman Gilmore.
Hunt Cave Servant (lv. 46), Cave Servant Archer (lv. 47), Cave Servant Warrior (lv. 48), Cave Servant Captain (lv. 49), Royal Cave Servant (lv. 51) until you have:
Articles of Dead Heroes. So, Gilmore asks you to bring him the quest items Articles of Dead Heroes, which drop from the undead mobs of the location. The task lists three mobs: Cave Servant Archer, Cave Servant Warrior and Cave Servant Captain, but it is not as hard as it seems at first sight: the description of the task itself, where the number of quest items is given, lists Cave Servant and Royal Cave Servant too. For every item Articles of Dead Heroes Gilmore pays you 60 adena, and you will agree that without extra treats this quest would be good for nothing at levels 48+. But there are treats, and more than one.

Return to Antharas Watchman Gilmore. Hand over:
Articles of Dead Heroes.Depending on how many items you have handed in, Gilmore can give you an additional item. There are four different ones:
Old Key,
Old Hilt,
Totem Necklace or
Einhasad Crucifix. Some were given the bonus item for 70 items handed in, some for 100 and some for 1000. 1000 is of course too much; you just have to find out for what minimum number of items a guaranteed bonus is given on your server. As soon as you get the bonus item, the drop of items from the mobs stops, and you have to carry the item to a certain NPC and get the reward from him.Old Key goes to Sir Kristof Rodemai, who is at the entrance to the warriors guild of Giran. The reward is given at random:
Cokes ×55,
Scroll: Enchant Weapon (Grade C) ×1 or
Ring of Ages ×1. Old Hilt goes to Kaien, who is at the entrance to the warriors guild of Oren:
Oriharukon Ore ×25,
Varnish of Purity ×10 or
Scroll: Enchant Weapon (Grade C) ×1. Totem Necklace goes to Garvarentz, who is in the orc guild of Hunters Village:
Coarse Bone Powder ×50 or
Leather ×70. Einhasad Crucifix goes to Orven, who is in the temple of Aden:
Stone of Purity ×19,
Scroll: Enchant Armor (Grade C) ×5 or
Drake Leather Boots ×1.
Tips
- As you understand perfectly well, I could not check all the rewards; mostly resources pour out there, and the priest in Aden gives Drake boots. But by hearsay one of these NPCs can even give
Raid Sword; I never managed to get it.
