Test of Witchcraft walkthrough

The trial of witchcraft for the second class transfer, for Human Wizards, Human Knights and Palus Knights from level 39: Orim of the Death Pass asks for six gems for a box that holds a demon's soul, and then for the means to bind that demon. The reward is the Mark of Witchcraft.

Six gems for the box

1. Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Take the quest from Of Shadow Orim.

   

   

2. Giran Castle Town. Find Trader Alexandria in the luxury shop.

   

   

3. Find Magister Iker in the Mages Guild.

   

   

4. Ivory Tower. Hunt Enchanted Stone Golem (lv. 42) until you have: Enchanted Golem Heartstone ×20.

   

   

5. Plains of the Lizardmen (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Leto Lizardman (lv. 35) until you have: Leto Lizardman Charm ×20.

   

   

6. Sea of Spores (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Dire Wyrm (lv. 42) until you have: Dire Wyrm Fang ×20.

   

   

7. Giran Castle Town. Return to Magister Iker in the Mages Guild.

8. Find Magister Kaira in the Dark Elven Guild.

   

   

9. Town of Dion. Find Trader Lara in the grocery store.

   

   

10. Execution Grounds. Kill Nameless Revenant (lv. 38) to get: Aklantoth Gem 3.

    

    

11. Gludin Village. Talk to Trader Nestle.

    

    

12. Talk to Leopold.

    

    

13. Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Skeletal Mercenary (lv. 39) until you have: Aklantoth Gem 4, Aklantoth Gem 5, Aklantoth Gem 6.

    

    

14. Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Return to Of Shadow Orim.

The sword of binding

15. Return to Of Shadow Orim.

    Talk to Orim once more to learn how to bind the demon.

16. Giran Castle Town. Return to Magister Iker in the Mages Guild.

17. Gludin Village. Find Sir Klaus Vasper next to the Warriors Guild.

    

    

18. Town of Oren. Find Priest Vadin in the temple.

    

    

19. The Enchanted Valley (teleport from Hunters Village). Hunt Tamlin Orc (lv. 41), Tamlin Orc Archer (lv. 42) until you have: Tamlin Orc Amulet ×20.

    

    

20. Town of Oren. Return to Priest Vadin in the temple.

21. Gludin Village. Return to Sir Klaus Vasper next to the Warriors Guild.

22. Floran Village. Talk to Fisher Evert.

    

    

23. Kill Drevanul Prince Zeruel (lv. 42).

    The last blow on Drevanul Prince Zeruel must come from the Sword of Binding.

24. Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Return to Of Shadow Orim to complete the quest. You receive: Mark of Witchcraft.

1. Step 1

   Quest to acquire occupation change item, ‘Mark of Witchcraft.’ Orim of the Shadow laments about the prejudice on black magic, and tells you to be prepared for the negligence and the contempt from everyone in order to learn the Dark Arts. He will give the Mark of Witchcraft if you help him unlock the mysteries of Aklantoth's Box. And, to open the box you must obtain six jewels. He asks you to investigate the ancient jewels that were sold during the recent auction, and visit Trader Alexandria in the town of Giran.
