Quest: Audience with the Land Dragon

Audience with the Land Dragon is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C2: Age of Splendor for characters of level 50+. It starts with Gabrielle in Giran Castle Town.

Antharas quest walkthrough

The quest for the way to the epic raid boss Antharas is rather tedious, and tedious not because of farming heaps of mobs but simply because of the fuss and running about. But we will try to minimise all these movements. The essence of the quest is to get the portal stone, Portal Stone 1, with which you can teleport into the cave of Antharas. Various NPCs give tasks to kill ordinary or quest mobs, from which quest items drop (one item of each kind is needed), and the NPCs change them for the items Mark of Watchman. The quest mobs either already stand in their places or appear after ordinary mobs are farmed. On the whole there is nothing hard.

Four trophies

Giran Castle Town. Find Gabrielle on the square and take the quest. You receive: Feather of Gabrielle.
The quest is taken from the NPC Gabrielle in the central square of Giran. In the first part you have to go round four NPCs in different places, get tasks from them, kill the mobs and get the quest items in the drop. There is one trick here: we will not take the tasks but go straight to the mobs. The quest items are given anyway, and later we change them for Mark of Watchman at once. We do it like this (in any sequence).
Forsaken Plains (teleport from Town of Aden). Hunt Marsh Stalker (lv. 54) until you have: Marsh Stoker Horn.
1. The mobs Marsh Drake and Marsh Stalker in the location Forsaken Plains (teleport from Aden); the drop of the items is 100%.
Hunt Marsh Drake (lv. 55) until you have: Marsh Drake Talons.
The Giant's Cave. Hunt Kranrot (lv. 59) until you have: Kranrot Skin.
2. The mobs Kranrot and Hamrut in the Giant's Cave (teleport from Aden to Silent Valley, and from there up into the cave); the drop is 100%.
Hunt Hamrut (lv. 58) until you have: Hamrut Leg.
Anghel Waterfall. Hunt Harit Lizardman Shaman (lv. 54), Harit Lizardman Matriarch (lv. 55).
3. The mob Harit Lizardman Matriarch in the Forest of Mirrors (teleport from Aden or Hunters Village); from the teleport point we run towards Anghel Waterfall. We beat the mobs until three quest mobs Harit Lizardman Zealot appear.
Hunt Harit Lizardman Zealot (lv. 55) until you have: Totem of Earthdragon.
The item drops from one of them.
The Forbidden Gateway. Hunt Bloody Queen (lv. 60).
4. The mob Blood Queen in the location Seal of Shilen (teleport from Aden) or in the location Antharas' Lair (teleport from Giran). We beat the mobs until a heap of quest mobs Sacrifice of the Sacrificed appears.
Hunt Sacrifice Of The Sacrificed (lv. 20) until you have: Remains of Sacrified.
The item drops from one of them.
Ivory Tower. Talk to Magister Kaiena. Hand over: Marsh Stoker Horn, Marsh Drake Talons. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
Now we carry all the items to the NPCs (also in any order). 1. Magister Kaiena in the Ivory Tower.
Hunters Village. Talk to Prefect Chakiris. Hand over: Kranrot Skin, Hamrut Leg. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
2. Prefect Chakiris in the orc guild in Hunters Village.
Town of Aden. Find Master Kendra in the Warriors Guild. Hand over: Totem of Earthdragon. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
3. Master Kendra in the warriors' guild of Aden.
Find High Priest Orven in the temple. Hand over: Remains of Sacrified. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
4. High Priest Orven in the temple of Aden. Each of them takes their quest items and at once gives a Mark of Watchman.
Giran Castle Town. Return to Gabrielle on the square. Hand over: Mark of Watchman ×4.
We carry them to Gabrielle and get the next task.

Two abyss jewels

Gludin Village. Find Warehouse Chief Moke in the warehouse.
Now we have to visit two old-timer dwarves and do their tasks: Warehouse Chief Moke, naturally in the warehouse of Gludin Village, and Blacksmith Helton in the smithy of Oren. Here I did not dare to run straight to the quest mobs, so I did everything as written, in order. Warehouse Chief Moke sends you to the location Windy Hill (teleport from Gludin). At the teleport point a red glow is seen in the distance. We run there.
Windy Hill (teleport from Gludin Village). Kill Abyssal Jewel 1 (lv. 60) to get: Fragment of Abyss Jewel1.
We see the quest mob Abyssal Jewel 1. We start beating it, and it summons a heap of quest mobs Jewel Guardian Mara. The first item drops from Abyssal Jewel 1, the second (Mara Fang) from one of the guardians.
Gludin Village. Return to Warehouse Chief Moke in the warehouse. Hand over: Fragment of Abyss Jewel1, Mara Fang. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
We hand both to the dwarf in Gludin and get a Mark of Watchman.
Town of Oren. Find Blacksmith Helton in the smithy.
Blacksmith Helton sends you to the location Sea of Spores (teleport from Oren). At the teleport point we see the same red glow. We run there.
Sea of Spores (teleport from Town of Oren). Kill Abyssal Jewel 2 (lv. 60) to get: Fragment of Abyss Jewel2.
We see the quest mob Abyssal Jewel 2. We start beating it, and it summons a heap of quest mobs Jewel Guardian Musfel. The first item drops from Abyssal Jewel 2, the second (Musfel Fang) from one of the guardians.
Town of Oren. Return to Blacksmith Helton in the smithy. Hand over: Fragment of Abyss Jewel2, Musfel Fang. You receive: Mark of Watchman.
We hand both to the dwarf in Oren and get a Mark of Watchman.
Giran Castle Town. Return to Gabrielle on the square. Hand over: Mark of Watchman ×2.
We hand the items to Gabrielle in Giran.

The third jewel

Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Talk to Antharas Watchman Gilmore.
The third part of the quest. We teleport to the location Dragon Valley (teleport from Giran). At the teleport point stands the NPC Antharas Watchman Gilmore; we talk to him and after that set off again to the entrance of Antharas' Lair (teleport from Giran). At the teleport point stands the NPC Antharas Watchman Theodric, but we do not need him yet.
Antharas' Lair (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Hunt Cave Keeper (lv. 58), Cave Maiden (lv. 59).
We go out onto the glade before the entrance to the lair and beat the mobs Cave Maiden and Cave Keeper until the quest mob Abyssal Jewel 3 appears. We start beating it, and it summons three quest mobs Jewel Guardian Pyton. After Abyssal Jewel 3 and all the guardians are killed, you get the quest item (Frag of Abyss Jewel3).
Talk to Antharas Watchman Theodric to complete the quest. Hand over: Frag of Abyss Jewel3. You receive: Portal Stone 1.
And now we go to the entrance of the lair, to the NPC Antharas Watchman Theodric, to hand the quest in: all the quest items disappear, and we get the Portal Stone. You can go and beat Antharas.

Tips

One stone lets one character into the lair, so every member of the raid has to do the quest.

Step 1
Quest that must be completed in order to obtain the ‘portal stone’, which is needed enter the Lair of Antharas. Seal Watchman Gabrielle warns that the land dragon, Antharas, has been awakened from its long slumber, and recommends you to join the party being sent to slay the monster. According to her, the Lair of Antharas is surrounded by a magical field and is thus unapproachable. However, the one who possesses the ‘portal stone’ may be able to activate the ‘heart of the field’ to pass through. Only the ones acknowledged by the seal watchmen may receive the stone. Follow Gabrielle’s instructions and visit the other four watchmen. Complete their assignments to receive their acknowledgements. The four watchmen of the seal are the following: Magister Kaiena of the Ivory Tower, Prefect Chakiris of the Hunters' Village, and Master Kendra and High Priest Orben of the Town of Aden.
Step 2
Gabrielle says that there is a force pushing for the awakening of Antharas and that you must prevent their entry. She instructs you to meet with Warehouse Chief Moke of Gludin town and Blacksmith Helton of Oren. After listening to their explanation, go find and destroy the “abyss jewel.”
Step 3
Take the mark of watchman, which is the evidence of having been recognized by the watchmen of the seal, and go find Gilmore, watchman of the land dragon Antharas, at the entrance to Dragon Valley.
Step 4
Kill the cave keeper and cave maidens in the center of Dragon Valley and get the third abyss jewel. After destroying that, take the fragments and go meet Theodric, watchman of the land dragon, at the entrance to the Lair of Antharas.
